Gatorland in Orlando Florida is worth checking out. Spread over an 110-acre preserve, Alligators, Crocodiles, Flamingos, and various other species are on display throughout a theme park environment. The line develops pretty fast to get in and I would recommend getting in it a half an hour before the gate opens.
Following the trail through the park is very entertaining, and sometimes a little unnerving. Check out the map, they offer everything from shows to a zip line adventure.
One takeaway I have from this adventure is the beauty of the self-guided tour, enabling you to see the entire park at your own pace. Take the time to check out all of the little nooks and crannies, and don’t miss the Swamp Walk. I bet after you read about the Water Mocassins on the Swamp Walk the center of the walkway will look way more appealing than the edge.
